About Quick Lube

Quick Lube is an oil change service in Brooklyn, New York. It is listed at 1437 Ralph Ave, Brooklyn, NY 11236, which places it among the local businesses of Brooklyn that residents and visitors turn to when they need this kind of service close by.

In Brooklyn, shops are busiest on Monday mornings and before holiday weekends, so a mid-week appointment gets a car seen faster. Labor rates across New York vary by neighborhood and by shop type, from small independents to dealership service bays, and mobile mechanics now cover many routine jobs in the driveway. Before authorizing a repair, ask for the estimate in writing, whether the shop warranties parts and labor (12 months / 12,000 miles is common, some offer more), and whether it can provide a loaner or a shuttle. Check the listing for hours, the makes the shop works on and its Google rating, then call ahead, since walk-in capacity is limited at smaller shops.

No hours are on file. If you plan a visit, phone first or check the Google Maps link on this page for the latest times. The listed phone number is (718) 451-0074. Many businesses also reply to text messages on the same number if it is a cell phone.

Customers rate it 4.4 out of 5 on Google across 37 reviews, placing it among the better-regarded oil change services in Brooklyn.

Brooklyn is in New York, in the Northeast, where four distinct seasons shape local life: hot humid summers, snowy winters that can close businesses for a day, and a dense pattern of towns where walking, transit and street parking all matter. US addresses list the street number and name, then the city, state abbreviation and ZIP code, and Brooklyn follows the same pattern; a suite or apartment number such as Ste 200 refers to a unit inside the building. The map link on this page shows the exact spot.

Quick Lube is my go-to for oil changes. Every single one of the gentlemen who work there are great at what they do. They exemplify customer service and they are fair! My favorite is Diego. He was so kind when I mentioned that I was nervous about maintaining the car after my dad passed away.

THANK GOD MY ENGINE DID NOT SEIZE! I typically go to this place and NEVER had a problem. On 3/17/24 I received an oil change on my FX35. They asked what oil I preferred and I requested for the car to be filled with premium oil. Today 4/18/24 I go to the mechanic because there’s a fluttering metal sound that started 2 days prior. When I mechanic popped my hood……… THERE WAS ABSOLUTELY NOOOOO OIL IN THE CAR! My mechanic wiped the oil reader on my finger and it was DRRRRYYYYYY!!!!!! How is that possible? Even if my car is an “oil drinker” I don’t see how 6 quarts could burn out to NOTHING in essentially a month! Had my engine seized, I would have been out of a car and no legit way to hold them accountable! I will not be returning to this establishment.

First of all my car is a mess. And they vacuumed up my floor mats. And they didn't try to UP MARKET me on other products or services. They were fast and efficient. They have a return customer.
